A simple trick to Get a .info domain just for $0.49

The other day I was just registering few domains and I got a simple trick or may be I should call it a workaround through which you can Buy a .info domain just for $0.49 or less than Rs.40. Isn’t that good? Yeah!! It is, but this may not be good for companies or bloggers as they prefer to buy top-level domains like .com, .edu, .org, .net etc. But this can be very helpful for those who want to have a website for a occasion or seasonal event may be like marriage, party, college event, etc. So lets get to the business How to get a .info domain for just $0.49, here we go-
All you need to do is search for a domain that you need for say “techonzoblog”. Now go to Godaddy.com which is one of the best domains selling website today. On Godaddy do a domain search for “techonzoblog.com”, yeah I know we want a .info domain but this is a workaround, so lets do it this way. After searching your desired domain name as .com continue with registration. Sign in with your existing Godaddy account or if you don’t have an existing account fill in the personal information asked and proceed. This will take you to the check out screen which will look like the screen below-
Now on the above screen you can see the offer for a .info domain just for $0.49. Click on the checkbox, and that will update your cart with a .info domain and your total cart will look like the screen-shot below-
Now when both the domains are added to your cart, delete the .com domain from your cart and let the cart refresh on its own. After the refresh you will see your cart like-
See you got it for $0.49 and yeah you have to pay $0.19 for ICANN fee, so that brings a total of $0.67. Hurray!! now press “Continue to Checkout” and the .info domain is all yours. Cheers enjoy..
