Beware : Osama Bin Laden virus on facebook

Recently after US President Barack Obama announced to the world that Osama Bin Laden was dead a lot of images and videos referring Laden has came out and going viral also. But eventually FBI said they were fake.
When FBI was asked about computer users to exercise caution, they said “People should not open unsolicited spam emails that claim to show photos or download software to view videos of bin Laden’s death, even if the messages are from people they know as these applications can infect computers and could be viruses programmed to steal personally identifiable information.”
Now people are also receiving mail and feeds on their Facebook, Twitter account about “exclusive coverage”, “exclusive videos” being leaked by ‘Wikileaks’ and ‘CNN’ increasing the probability of user clicking on that link. Once you will click on such links it will automatically gets posted on walls of your friends.

People have also received malicious softwares through email. These feeds and mails may be coming through your friend and he/she may not be even aware about this.
So it is highly recommended that you update your antivirus and don’t click on any spam links on your social networking accounts. Its better you open the website directly like CNN, NYTimes, etc and read latest news there itself.
