Google Chrome Crash Fix


In a previous article How to Fix Google Chrome Crash Problem, I have mentioned ways to fix Google Chrome crashes. This is the revised version of that article. If the ways discussed before didn’t work out for you, I am sure this time you will not feel disappointed.

As I always do, I was surfing few forums and communities and I saw there are many people still searching for “google chrome crash fix”, “chrome crashing”, “google chrome crash solution”, “chrome crash problem”. So I thought of revising the ways I discussed before and

A new version of Google Chrome which is much more experimented than the previous versions. I downloaded this new version and I got amazed by the new changes I saw. Speed has increased, no crashing problem, fast loading, fast search.. I think Its awesome.

Another way to solve this issue is

  • Click on the Google Chrome shortcut
  • In Target field add “–no-sandbox” or “–in-process-plugins” to the end (after the apostrophe)
  • Click Apply and Try starting Chrome again.

Note : A space is must between the last apostrophy and the two dashes of “nosandbox”

Third way to solve this issue is

  • Click on the Google Chrome shortcut
  • In Target field add “–new-http” to the end (after the apostrophe)
  • Click Apply and Try starting Chrome again

I am sure you are now free from Google Chrome Crashes.

      i have downloaded google chrome canary build but it still crashes. When i inserted “–no-sandbox” or “–in-process-plugins” in the shortcut it says “invalid target”.
      what should i do?it’s really annoying.
      Please help

        Shelly,
        please check that you have added two dashes before “no-sandbox”.
        and also try putting “no-http” followed by two dashes.

        I m sure it will solve the purpose.

      My laptop has detached a malware then chrome started to crash. I havetries all three of these problems but they didn’t work. Do you have any other suggestions?

        I think you have to first uninstall google chrome, get a good antivirus, do a thorough scanning. After getting ur PC cleaned up, reinstall google chrome.
        And also make sure that when u start the new google chrome, you will get one more process in your Task Manager as “Googlecrashhandler.exe”

      Thanks for your help, but your stated method didn’t worked for me… i tried this fix to get rid of the problem.. thanks anyways…
      Open it and click Settings.
      Click Options | Personal Stuff.
      Click Reset to default theme.
