We are lightyears behind the likes of Chad Ochocinco and other NFL players who use social media as an additional stream of revenue. This ban affects perhaps a couple of players per team on average, with the English team having 0 as far as I know with one account unverified. This policy is likely to change when more players choose to use social media, which is more of a generational shift than anything Fifa or coaches mandate. It’s a fairly pointless ban given that so few football players use social media.
